The 2011 AYSO Section 14 State Games will be held in Wellington (Pierson Park) January 15-17, 2011 (the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday weekend). The tournament is open to all AYSO Region 345 players, boys and girls, in U10, U12, U14, U16, and U19 who have played at least half of the Fall 2010 Season. Players will be selected at the following open tryouts for the 2011 AYSO Region 345 Section 14 States Games teams:

To be considered for selection to a 2011 AYSO Region 345 Section 14 State Games team in any division, players must attend at least one of the above three tryouts, however, players are welcome to attend all three tryout sessions.

Teams will be selected the week of October 25 and a coach will call you within (1) one week. The 2011 AYSO Region 345 Section 14 State Games registration fee is $80.00 (payable in cash only) per player which includes complete uniform and tournament fee. Each player will need a 1” x 1” current picture for their id card. All teams will need to turn in their money, rosters, uniform sizing, and id cards by November 22 unless the team wishes to participate in a tournament before the 2011 AYSO Section 14 State Games in which all items will need to be turned in by November 6. Additional items such as sweatshirts, t-shirts, and bags are not covered in the registration fee, however, these items are available thru the league at an extra cost but need to be ordered and paid for (cash only) by November 27. Sponsors may be attained to cover some of these items and forms are available in the office.

Coaches will determine the nights of practices. Practices may be held on Fridays or Sundays from October 31 until the end of the AYSO Region 345 Fall Season. Priority will be for players to attend their recreational team practice before the 2011 AYSO Region 345 Section 14 State Games practices. Practices during the week will start the week of November 22. No practices will be done between Christmas and New Year’s. All players are guaranteed to play 50% of every game in this tournament.
